We found it good value. The wood room had a nice atmosphere, and the air con, mosquito net and supplied bug spray helped us deal with the few mosquitoes that got inside. We skipped breakfast since they'd cook it to order, and it didn't look especially appealing anyway. There are plenty of nice cafes nearby, and you can easily rent a scooter to reach a great beach.

The place is tidy and looks good, with clean dorms, a well-kept pool and a lovely setting. Still, the stay didn't have much of a vibe. The staff seemed to just do their jobs, and we didn't feel we got much of an experience from being there. For a similar price, there seem to be more fun places, so we probably wouldn't return. Good, but that's about it.

This isn't a party place, which is one positive. But cleanliness needs work: even though they mop daily, our feet got dark when we walked barefoot. The pool water wasn't clear, and breakfast was papaya and boiled eggs left outside on the table all morning, which seems concerning in the heat. The bungalows are dim, and their windows don't close properly, so mosquitoes get in easily at night. The place has also had bedbugs since a year ago.

The rooms are roomy, and the shower and toilet area was really clean with no bad smells. Two staff members cleaned thoroughly every day. Breakfast was the best inclusive one I've had in a month in Bali: basic but filling, with hard boiled eggs, two bowls of fruit, three loaves of bread, butter and jam (a bit too sweet for me), plus tea and coffee. The compact pool draws travelers in the afternoon and evening. Once I fell asleep, I didn't hear motorbikes, barking dogs or crowing roosters.
