Las Lunas Villas Canggu

Bagus made our late arrival easy by arranging dinner at the villa, and he was there for bookings and anything else we needed during the stay. We spent five nights with two friends in this lovely place. There are three separate air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a fully equipped kitchen and an open living and dining space. The private pool was great, and anything else we needed was nearby. I’d love to come back.

Mr. Bagus, the villa manager, was quick to respond whenever an issue came up and always spoke kindly. The villa is in a very convenient spot in central Canggu, but there were a lot of problems with upkeep and service. The pool water looked dirty and stung my eyes, the room smelled damp, and the air conditioning gave us trouble. There were many animals around the villa and bathroom, and caterpillars behind the sheets in my child's room. The photos also looked quite different from the actual place. Getting there was difficult because the road is rocky, making it hard to walk or ride a motorbike. I hope the road is fixed soon and cleanliness improves with better operating standards. I hope management can raise the quality going forward.

The staff were kind and very attentive, and the location was good. We also had a spacious room and a large pool. The villa itself was beautiful, brand new, and had a sleek modern look. I’d happily recommend it to anyone travelling to Canggu.

The tennis club next door is loud all the time, and workers at the neighbouring construction site can see into the bathroom. They tried to cover it a little, but not very well. The place itself is beautiful, though it needs more maintenance.
