The Bohemian Bali, a Member of Design Hotels

We really didn’t want to leave. The price felt great for what we got, and the service was wonderful. Thanks especially to General Manager Lilian for making the stay so memorable. The Bohemian Bali has beautiful, characterful design, but still feels peaceful and uncrowded. We relaxed from the moment we arrived.

What made this place stay with me was how personal everything felt. Ari and her team helped us celebrate my birthday and our anniversary with fruit and cake, and they were thoughtful throughout. They also made getting around simple, whether we needed a buggy ride around Canggu or help reaching a restaurant or massage appointment. I’m sincerely grateful to them. Bohemian is a Marriott property in the Canggu area, tucked down a small alley with only a limited number of rooms. That gave it a peaceful, private feel. Our suite had a beautiful industrial design that was both modern and cozy, and we were happy just lounging on the sofa in the quiet or taking a swim in our own pool. It became one of the most memorable parts of our Bali trip. I’d come back someday. Some hotels sell luxury, but a rare one can make you feel attached to a building. Ridiculous concept, yet here we are.

The people at The Bohemian made our stay the best we’ve had in Bali over many years. The crew were kind, generous, and accommodating, always trying to make us comfortable. The food was incredible, and the coffee beat anything I found on the streets of Canggu. The rooms were just as carefully put together as the building exterior, lobby, and eatery. I loved how daylight and warm lighting played with the shadows, making the place feel deeply relaxing. The fixtures and furnishings were impeccable, too. It’s an amazing retreat down a skinny alleyway.

The team, especially Ari, made this stay memorable with their attentive, genuine kindness. The hotel itself is peaceful and stylish, and every detail felt thoughtfully considered. I loved having curated Spotify playlists and a turntable in the room. The buggy service into the center was really handy, too. Great food and warm hospitality in a hidden gem in the heart of Canggu. I’d recommend it to anyone after a calm, stylish stay in Bali.
