Villa Nonnavana

Villa Nonnavana has a modern feel while still keeping those Bali vibes, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable for us. The location made it easy to get to everything we needed. We loved being able to swim in the pool whenever we wanted, it was so relaxing. The price felt fair, and we’d definitely come back. Highly recommend!

The villa was clean, pleasant and well located, and the staff were friendly. But with the high price, I'm not sure it was worth it. We couldn't use the pool for our whole stay because of excessive acid levels and ineffective maintenance. No one told us when we checked in. We only found out after our children jumped in and came out with red rashes and hives. The pool gets shaded and cold in the afternoon, so luckily they hadn't gone underwater and hurt their eyes. The chemical rash has been nasty, and my eldest son still has it. After this, we're very unsure about staying in another Bali villa. Having to go to a beach club every day to use a pool cost quite a bit and defeated the point of booking a villa. The biggest problem was the management company, the Luxe Nomad. We didn't originally book this villa. The company moved us here because there was construction at the villa we'd booked through them. They offered very little compensation for the move and disruption, then offered free breakfast after the pool incident, which we declined. I'd suggest booking through another agency if you want to relax without the daily stress of dealing with them.

We were eight, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool and yard were great for relaxing at the villa, and the hammock by the pool deck was a nice touch. Inside, the contemporary, luxe decor was gorgeous. Every bedroom has its own ensuite, so each one felt like a master. The location is central, close to cafes, restaurants and boutiques, which made getting around easy. The host also arranged a private day tour for us at a good price.

Yuli, Wiwin and Putu Edi made our stay so good, thank you! The team was great from booking through checkout. The villa had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, a Harman Kardon speaker I loved, and beautiful interiors. It was well maintained, with no mold at all. There was a night guard outside in the evening, which made it feel safe. One small thing for anyone unfamiliar with motorbikes or Bali roads: the lane to the villa is fairly big but the paving isn't smooth. It's a short way through, though, and it wasn't a problem for me. Pepito market is about 10 minutes away.
