Surf Loft 4 by Alfred in Bali

I’ve been here three times now, mainly because the location is so good and the loft is comfortable and well equipped. I love that I can walk to the beach, cafes, spas, and shops. There’s development going on around Bali, it seems to be everywhere, but it hasn’t bothered me here. The management team is professional and always makes me feel looked after. Highly recommend!

The team made me feel at home with their really warm, friendly service. Even with new developments all around the area, Surf Loft in Canggu felt safe and peaceful. Great vibes, and I’d definitely return.

I really liked the decor, it added so much to the feel of Surf Loft 2. The furnishings were beautiful, with a modern, artistic, elegant look, and the space still felt comfortable. I had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend.

Privacy and safety were my main concerns. This property is in the middle of an active construction site, rather than simply being “near construction” as the listing says. Workers can see directly into the accommodation, and makeshift housing sits right beside it. That raises serious privacy and safety concerns, especially for solo female travelers. I visited before check-in and brought up these legitimate issues, but management wouldn’t acknowledge them and insisted on its no-refund policy, despite what I see as a clear material misrepresentation. The way they handled it felt extremely unprofessional and unethical. The listing’s photos and claims of “luxury living” and a “serene ambiance” badly misrepresent the current conditions. Recent negative Airbnb reviews support my point. Be aware of the conditions before booking if privacy and safety matter to you.
