Aquavista Ceningan

The hosts made everything easy, arranging a motorbike, picking us up without us even asking, and helping us sort out our transfer off the island. When our taxi fell through, they drove us themselves. There are plenty of high-quality restaurants within walking distance, too. We paid the least for this place on our trip, yet it was the best. The little villa complex feels exclusive, with more sun loungers than guests. Rooms are fairly basic but have what you need, and every villa faces the sea, with the terrace just 10m from the water and waves audible from inside. The warm, slightly salty pool is lovely and only metres from the ocean. Beer is ice cold and costs about the same as at the shops. The AC is powerful, the shower is great, and the room fridge gets drinks properly cold. The hosts were lovely. 100% recommend, exceptional value, and a best-in-trip stay.

Although we had to cancel our four-night Aquavista booking for April 2025 and can't comment on the villa itself, the Sugih Villa management team handled communication, our ferry bookings, and the cancellation exceptionally well. Their integrity is unquestionable. If we get another chance to visit Nusa Lembongan, we'll stay in their villas. Thank you, Sugih Villa team.

Yuni and Putu were the best part of our stay. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with whatever we needed. The views were stunning, the pool was great, and the location worked well. A couple of room details could be improved. The mattresses need toppers for better sleep, especially the first room by the entrance, whose mattress may need replacing. The showers and taps use salt water. We managed, but after a few days it was a bit rough on our skin, and we hadn't been told about it. Thanks again to Yuni and Putu for making us feel so looked after!

We had great views by day and a lovely sunset outlook, with lots of sights and places to eat within walking distance. Our room was simple, but had everything we needed: a toilet, shower, bed, mini fridge, safe, and, most importantly, air conditioning. Breakfast was simple and tasted great. Made and Putu were wonderful. They picked us up at the yellow bridge, dropped us off when we left, shared great island touring suggestions, and helped arrange our fast boat on departure morning. This was our fourth night on Ceningan, and we were grateful for such a great stay.
