This was easily our worst stay in Bali. The room we paid extra for apparently doesn’t exist; all the rooms are standard, yet we were charged double. The supposed sea view was a wall, and there’s no direct beach access from the villa, so you have to go by road. The owner seemed dishonest and greedy. They overcharged us for rides without mentioning that local restaurants all offer free pickup. Comfort was minimal, too: water pressure was so low we couldn’t even shower. The whole experience felt misleading.

The room was quiet and had a lovely sea view, just what I needed. sea bridge villa is easy to find, just after the bridge, with a shop right across from the entrance. Lots of cafes and bars are within walking distance. I stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. Thanks for having me! The owner serves breakfast, but I always went out to try local cafes, so I can’t comment on it.

The pool was clean and had a nice view. Bed sheets and towels were clean and new, and the owner and staff were friendly and smiling. They’ll meet you and take you to the boat for free, and you can rent a motorbike at the hotel. This place is good for a couple of nights. We stayed ten days, and our room was dirty when we arrived: the fridge was unclean, there were spiders and dust in the mugs, and every shelf was dusty. They responded quickly to our comments and tried to put things right. There was no wardrobe or hangers, not even a bedside table, and the mosquito net above the bed was dusty. No towel hook in the bathroom either. The plumbing was old, and the shower sprayed in all directions. There were lots of mosquitoes in the room and cockroaches in the bathroom.

The pool was a lovely spot to cool off in the afternoon and catch the sunset with a cold drink. There are plenty of restaurants a short walk away, plus a convenience store across the road. This little family-run place sits right by the Yellow Bridge, and rooms 1, 2 and 3 were spacious, very clean and had great air conditioning. We ended up here after a mix-up with our pre-booked accommodation, and Ita (?), Wayan and Kadek took such good care of us, even giving us rides to get money and lending us a scooter. I’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

The owners seemed to know everyone on the island, which made it really easy to find a nanny for our three children. The pool was very clean, and breakfast was great. We stayed in a brand-new villa run by a wonderful family, and this was the best place we stayed in all of Bali. It was very good value. Thanks for making our holiday such a good one, and all the best. I’d recommend it to anyone. Cody
