The Puncak Sunset Ceningan

The way our departure was handled left a sour note. We had been told our bags would be taken to the boat back to Bali, but our suitcases were left at the end of the yellow bridge, and they refused to take them farther. That was really frustrating after an otherwise beautiful stay. The villa itself was spacious and luxurious, with breathtaking views. Breakfast was disappointing, though. The girl making it was lovely and helpful, but it was basic, usually just two pieces of toast with eggs, and pancakes only if you were lucky.

Ketut was incredibly accommodating. He arranged our fast boat tickets back from Sanur, picked us up at the yellow bridge, and had people ready to carry our bags across. He also set up snorkeling with Manta Rays. We loved relaxing by the infinity pool and in the outdoor lounge areas, and the covered outdoor kitchen was beautiful. The hillside villa overlooks the water and sits right in nature, with geckos and roosters around. The rooms were neat and clean, with good-sized bathrooms. Highly recommend it for a relaxing escape from the busy mainland. Ketut can also drop you at Seabreeze bar for drinks by the water. Breakfast at the villa was fantastic.

The owner made everything easy, arranging our boat trip from Sanur and the pickup so the journey went smoothly. He also set up food delivery, massages at the villa, laundry, and affordable rentals of well-maintained scooters. We felt in good hands throughout. There's a very good seaview restaurant just a two-minute walk away, and food can also be ordered in. The scooter ride to the beaches, shops, and yellow bridge was pleasant, and the owner offered us a lift in his cart whenever we needed one. The villa is private and beautifully styled, with a lovely sea view, an infinity pool, and plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The bedrooms are comfortable, each with a bathroom, air conditioning, and mosquito nets. We enjoyed the outdoor dining area with its fan. Sunsets from the verandah or pool were beautiful, and the place felt romantic and luxurious. A lovely housekeeper made delicious breakfast each morning. We had a great time and highly recommend staying here.

The view from the bedroom and pool is blissful, and the owner and staff were so friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to help with our requests. If you feel you've had enough of the island after two days, Nusa Lambogan is only a five-minute bike ride away. I'd definitely return.
