The Highland Park Resort Hotel Bogor

There’s a lot to keep both kids and adults busy here, including the 24-hour recreation area with mini billiards, ping pong and chess, plus horse riding, a small deer enclosure and a glass bridge that’s great for IG photos. The place sits at the foot of the mountain, so the air stays cool and fresh all day. Everything looked clean, from the rooms and pathways to the pools. The main pool and slides were well maintained, and the infinity pool has a great view. On weekends there was plenty of parking, and at night they set up a bonfire near the pool, which made for a cozy atmosphere for families and groups. It’s about an hour from Bogor, with an easy drive. A clean place with lots to do and a refreshing mountain setting, a good weekend getaway.

This was my second visit, for a family gathering with two different companies. Since I got married, I’ve had two children, and we’ve always had a joyful time here with full service. All the staff are kind and quick to respond. Keep it up, The Highland Park Resort Hotel Bogor crew and management.

There’s so much to do at the resort: two pools, kids’ slides, a cheap driving range and archery, plus free pool, ping pong and chess, and zip lines. The restaurant is good and pretty affordable. We ate there three times a day, and they even gave us little extras like cereal at breakfast or eclairs after dinner. The staff were super friendly and spoke good English. They quickly helped with every request, from finding a special plug adapter at 9pm to helping me buy medicine at their mini mart when I didn’t have cash. We also got welcome drinks, complimentary late-night snacks and drinks, and a free archery activity. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to families with kids, and hope to come back one day. My son said, “it’s the best hotel ever!”

My family loved everything about this surprise birthday trip. The receptionist was helpful and all the staff were friendly. We had fun at the mini playground and the mini zoo, which is more like an aviary, and also visited the plant nursery where you can harvest from. The waterboom is lively in the morning, but it was already empty after 11 am. It’s also very near to Curug Nangka. We’ll visit again soon!
