InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar by IHG

The staff were friendly and the service was nice. I also loved the location, surrounded by nature, and thought the breakfast selection was excellent. It’s very kids friendly, probably the hotel’s strongest point. Still, I found it pretty average. I’d had a great experience at InterContinental Jakarta, where I also regularly eat at one of their restaurants, despite living nearby and having no expectations. I’ve stayed at a few other InterContinental hotels overseas too, so I expected the usual service standards. I was here for 3 days and 2 nights, and this stay fell short of what I’d expect from a 5 star hotel. The room was mediocre and not especially clean. There were a few brown stains on the glass desk and sink countertop, which was unpleasant. After being out all day, we came back one night to find the towels hadn’t been replaced. The bottled water in the room was inconsistent too, with three bottles on the first day and only one or two the next. Don’t expect too much.

The service really stands out and makes this hotel worthy of its five stars. When I asked the restaurant staff for something special at breakfast, they happily prepared it, and it came out excellently. Most of the food is Asian or Indonesian. The hotel sits high above the city, with a breathtaking view across it. It was truly exceptional.

The staff were warm, attentive, and very professional, making the stay feel five-star from check-in through check-out. Breakfast had plenty of high-quality choices and tasted great, while the well-kept pool and spa added to the experience. The peaceful setting in Dago Pakar feels refreshing and away from the city crowds, yet remains accessible. From the hills, the views of Bandung are stunning. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with large windows looking out over the city and nature. The calm, exclusive atmosphere suited a getaway or special occasion. A memorable stay with excellent service and top-tier comfort, worth every moment.

The peaceful setting and beautiful scenery made this a great place to relax and spend quality time with family, while still being accessible. My stay at InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar was wonderful. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely view. Staff were polite, attentive, and ready to help, so we felt genuinely welcomed throughout. Love it.... Highly recommended for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay in Bandung.
