Cianjur Paddies Hostel is a peaceful break from the city crowds and Indonesia’s tourist spots, with green rice fields all around and no traffic bothering you. Take a quiet walk through the fields, do yoga, sip coconut water, or watch the sunrise and sunset with a coffee. It’s a lovely place to slow down and unwind before the next adventure, and to spend time with local people. :)

The hosts, both the man and woman, are lovely, friendly, and really helpful. The place is super comfortable, and I loved the view in the morning. Since it’s quite far from everywhere, you can order food from them if you don’t feel like going out. ❤️

Ridwan is so kind and helpful, and I wish I could have stayed longer to get to know him better. The place is simple and may not suit city people, but it’s great if you want nature and beautiful scenery.

The property sits right beside a main street, so car engines and motorcycle exhaust can lull you to sleep until around 10 PM, depending on whether it’s a weekday or weekend. After that, you can clearly hear the gurgling water, cicadas, and other nighttime animals. Open the door or window in the morning and there’s fog and fresh air. I highly recommend calling the owner before you arrive, especially to sort out parking, since the property has none. You can park at the owner’s place, three houses before the villas.

I had a lovely time here. It’s calm and beautiful among the rice fields, just right for relaxing. 👍
