Hotel Santika Cirebon

The building has a classic feel, but our room was very nice, clean, comfortable, well maintained, and the AC was cold. We were given one of the best rooms even though we’d booked a promotional rate. I came to Cirebon for the first time with my sibling on a food and travel trip, and it was a memorable stay. We arrived around 11 PM and Ms. Dena welcomed us warmly. Breakfast was a highlight: lots of variety, delicious food, and flavors that really represented Indonesian cuisine. I can’t remember the restaurant lady’s name, but she was attentive and remembered my daily request for warm water with honey and sliced ginger. Even my seating preference stayed the same on the 2nd day. The restaurant overlooks the pool, which made breakfast more enjoyable. At lunch on our last day, Mas Fernando helped us with a lovely surprise. We were also given complimentary transportation to the train station, which made us very happy and touched. Special thanks to Pak Rudi, who kindly escorted us with great enthusiasm despite being told at the last minute, right after finishing his night shift. A friendly suggestion for Housekeeping, meant in good faith: please keep giving extra attention to the public toilets and guest room bathrooms. It would help if shower fixtures weren’t removed while cleaning bathroom walls, since that can cause problems later and require Engineering to fix them again, as happened during my stay. We really enjoyed the visit and can’t wait to return after the renovation from a 3-star to a 4-star hotel. Thanks to the whole Santika team, and wishing you all good health and continued success. 🌿

The room furniture seemed a little dated, though it was clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was good. Food was excellent, with plenty of variety and great flavor. It was a pleasant stay and still a good option in Cirebon.

I spent one night at Hotel Santika Cirebon. The breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, and I especially liked the Wedang Uwuh. The pool was crystal clear, with a calm, cozy atmosphere. Check-in at reception was quick and handled nicely. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the amenities and complimentary items were above average. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The staff are the bright spot here. They’re friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to support guests, which makes a real difference to the stay. The hotel’s historic charm is clear, but it also feels stuck in the past, with little sign of recent investment or modernization. I’ve visited over the past four years and haven’t seen meaningful upgrades to the rooms or facilities. The gym especially needs refurbishment, with old equipment that looks like it’s in disrepair.
