The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and tidy. The room is on the small side, but it fit two adults and a child just fine. Facilities felt surprisingly complete and cozy, the food was tasty with familiar choices, and the price was affordable. Getting there was easy, and there was good parking for drivers. I’d certainly come back for another occasion.

I liked relaxing in the garden-themed breakfast area, and the hotel also offers a free shuttle to the train station around the clock. The room service food was tasty and reasonably priced, and the hotel still offers the basic amenities at a competitive rate. This was my second stay, after first coming in 2021, both times as a rest stop on a drive from Surabaya toward Jakarta. This time my north-facing room let in loud mosque sounds and the occasional train horn, which disturbed my sleep. Better sound insulation would help. It works well for a business trip or as a station hub.
10/10
Breakfast was a decent mix of local and international food. I enjoyed the fried rice, chicken porridge, and traditional cakes, and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere for starting the day. The staff were helpful, check-in and checkout went smoothly, reception paid attention to guests, and housekeeping kept things clean. My room felt modern and minimalist, with a soft bed and cozy lighting. It was clean and comfortable, though not especially spacious, and suited a short stay. The bathroom had a hot shower and standard amenities. Hotel Metland Cirebon is in a handy central spot, close to the train station, shopping centers, and local food places.

This was my second stay, just for one night while heading toward East Java. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I liked the open-air restaurant, which has a colonial-style look. The hotel is great, and the price is affordable.
