Grand Diara Hotel

The rooftop is a lovely place to have breakfast, with great scenery. The hotel is good for kids, with lots of facilities for them, and they even provide a kids’ chair at breakfast. The room itself is like other hotel rooms, with no special features. I stayed here on vacation and had a pleasant time :)

Friendly, helpful hotel staff, and you can hold office events here too. There are three large conference rooms that suit groups of 30-80 people. The restaurant has a big smoking area and non-smoking area, both with a beautiful mountain view. There’s also a children’s playground, and the villa is spacious enough for a family of five. The bedrooms are good, the bathroom is nice, parking is medium-sized and can fit a tour bus, and the weather is nice all year. Quite a nice hotel for a reasonable price.

Worth the price, though the rooms are just so-so and nothing special. The hotel is kid-friendly, with indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a trampoline, and a swimming pool. It’s in a strategic spot beside attractions like The Ranch and Cimory Mountain View. If you’re going to Bogor, check the gate opening and closing schedule so you don’t lose time in traffic. The hotel staff are welcoming and helpful with that information. I stayed during a long weekend.

The breakfast menu had enough options and was acceptable for a three-star hotel, and the restaurant is on the top floor with a nice mountain view. My Deluxe room was pleasant, with no issues with the air conditioning, bed, or bathroom. Wi-Fi was good enough. The staff were friendly and hardworking, and there are indoor and outdoor playgrounds plus a small pool for kids. The hotel has four floors, is in upper Puncak next to De Ranch and 500m from Cimory Mountain View, and the room rate is affordable. The parking lot isn’t very big, though you can park cars around the inner compound. I wish I could’ve stayed longer, and I’d definitely come back someday.
