Hotel Amarsya

Everything was good here. The staff were very helpful, and the room, cleanliness, and supplies were all well maintained. I recommend it if you want to spend a long time up in Bogor.

There’s no AC, but the weather here is cool to cold, so that was fine. The hotel is off the main road, though the paved way in through the neighborhood is decent. I only stayed the night and didn’t eat here. I travel around Indonesia often and have stayed in plenty of budget hotels. For the price, this one is clean, the rooms are large, and the amenities are nicely kept, including wrapped towels, drinks and snacks. They even clean your car or bike, which is going above and beyond. Edit: I found they may have bedbugs, so be mindful if you’re thinking of staying. It was clean, but there are still issues.

It was really quiet, which made it good for resting. The room boy and security gave great service, the staff washed all the vehicles, and there were snacks for breakfast.

For a budget hotel, I think this is one of the best. My room was clean and the service was excellent. They clean your vehicle and cover it at night so it stays dry in the rain. There’s hot water in the shower at night and in the morning, plus toiletries, towels, and tea and coffee.
