The breakfast buffet has a great selection, and Iman gave excellent service. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. There’s a kids’ play area at the back of the breakfast restaurant, where Yayu looks after them. She was amazing with my son, so patient and kind while teaching him and playing with him. Thank you!

The steak restaurant inside the hotel was the highlight, really excellent. The other food was just okay. Our room was comfortable and clean, though a bit smaller than we expected. We had a really nice stay at The Botanica Sanctuary. The whole hotel was clean and well kept, and the staff were welcoming and friendly from check-in through checkout. It’s quiet and relaxing, just right for a short getaway.

The balcony privacy could be better. Most are visible to other guests, apart from a few corner suites and some upper-level spots. Also, rooms are small, and you need to book ahead if you want a view because many rooms don’t have one. After ten days here, I found plenty to like. The hotel and its setting are beautiful, with stunning views. The lobby café is excellent, and its coffee is much better than the restaurant’s. The location is superb, everything is very clean, and the staff are professional, courteous, and welcoming. The bedding was freshly washed and clean, but it seemed reused and often had visible stains that didn’t come out. Even replacement sheets or pillowcases could have similar marks. The pillows were very uncomfortable. There’s only one elevator, and it’s often busy, so waits can be long. The stairs weren’t clearly accessible, or may not have been available, especially at busy times like breakfast. The main restaurant doesn’t offer many suitable choices for Arab guests, even though most guests are Arab. The menu is mostly Chinese, Japanese, or Indonesian, with very few Arabic options, mainly eggs, Arabic foul, and hummus. The coffee can taste unpleasant or be much too bitter.

Breakfast had plenty of variety, with Indonesian, Asian, Arabic, and Japanese choices. The food was delicious, and the restaurant felt comfortable, with an artistic design. Hardiansyah was especially friendly, quick, helpful, and informative. I booked a premier room, with a calming view of mountains and green trees. The design felt luxurious, and the bathroom was very comfortable. I’d never seen a sliding bathroom door quite like it. A good place for a couple’s trip or a family vacation with kids.
