The villa has an amazing view, but our stay wasn't very pleasant because the 3BR unit wasn't clean overall and the access road was in bad shape for roughly the last kilometer.

The staff were wonderful, and the setting feels like a little paradise, tucked into the jungle above the bay. After dark, thousands of tiny lights from fishing boats dot the water. Ask whether Mr Komo, an excellent and safe driver, is available to drive you. He knows all the fantastic places to visit.

The villa's gorgeous views and fantastic service made this a lovely getaway from Jakarta, even though it's a bit farther out than the other places in Perambuhan Ratu. The western food could be better. The beach you can walk to isn't worth the trek, and climbing back up is tiring, so you'll basically need to drive about 30 minutes to go somewhere else.

The food was the highlight for us, especially the nasi kunning, which is the best in town! The views, facilities and friendly staff were lovely too. A great escape from the urban jungle. We'll definitely visit Vila Gamrang again.

A relaxing spot to get away from the city, with an ocean view. The bedrooms were clean, and there was a dining room, living room, mini bar and kitchen. We had a great overnight stay.
