The room rate was affordable and worth the price, and the hotel is only about a 15-minute drive from Sanur Harbour, which worked really well for our trip. Our room was clean and comfortable, and even the bed linens smelled fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great stay, highly recommended.

The hotel is near the beach and airport, and the bed was comfortable with a clean toilet. In the afternoons, children have swimming lessons in the pool, which gives the place a lively, lovely feel. I stayed in a pool access room. It’s an older hotel, but seems quite well maintained, and I could see they’re renewing rooms bit by bit. The lighting and curtains use smart home appliances and voice control. The towels could probably be replaced with new ones. I appreciated that they had an actual Netflix account for entertainment, not just the app.

The staff were very helpful and nice from check-in through check-out, but I wouldn’t come with high expectations. If you mainly need a place to sleep before going to Lembongan, Penida, or exploring Sanur, it may suit you. The hotel is on the bypass, a bit far from the beach, so you’ll need a car or motorbike. There aren’t many restaurants around, just a Thai restaurant across the road. We had room 108 on the ground floor for four nights, from May 12th 2026 to May 16th 2026. The room smelled like old wood and a room that had been unused for a long time. The smell stayed for the couple of days we were there, and it was bad for my lungs. The white sheer curtain and main curtain were wrinkled and dirty, with black mold. There were stains on the chair, so I had to put napkins on it before sitting. The refrigerator didn’t work. The grass outside the pool access room was quite long, which made me reluctant to step out, and it didn’t look as clean as the pictures. The towel was light brown instead of white and should be upgraded. We were given just two tea sachets and two sugars, with no refill during our four-night stay. The pool looked green and unclean, nothing like the promotional picture, and didn’t make me want to swim. From around 3 to 6 pm there are swimming lessons, which can be noisy and crowded, and it’s hard to swim when the pool is in use. At breakfast, there’s an à la carte menu as well as a buffet, but the buffet has few choices. No egg station, cereal, or milk, and the fruit comes in small cups. For Western guests, there’s only bread with one jam option, though luckily there’s a toaster. There were lots of flies in the breakfast room, and ants under the rattan placemats on the tables. It seemed like they weren’t wiping or cleaning the tables after customers left.

We were 11 people and had 12 rooms, which was enough for us. Breakfast was simple and didn’t have many options. The hotel has its own swimming pool, though sometimes it gets noisy. It’s near the main road, so getting a Grab is easy.

This was my third liveaboard, and the organisation of the dives and the comfort on board both stood out. The dives were split into groups of four per DM, with a clear briefing before we got ready in smaller groups, so there wasn’t chaos with 16 people. Our DM was knowledgeable and readiness was double-checked. I saw a review mentioning a lack of safety procedures, and I absolutely don’t recognize that. The crew and DM did pre-dive checks, discussed currents and procedures, and checked air regularly. Dives ended at 50 bar. When one diver struggled with the currents, the DM acted quickly and decisively underwater, guiding us to a more sheltered area and making sure everyone was okay before we continued. The ship is nicely designed, with lots of amenities: a large food and beverage menu, jacuzzis, spacious common areas, and a huge top deck. My cabin was practical and had warm lighting, a balcony, and a clothesline, which were both nice additions. The hot shower was very nice, and the hairdryer was incredible. They paid attention to the details.
