The area feels safe and local, with shops and some restaurants about a five-minute walk away. It’s around 15 minutes by motorcycle from the tourist area, so it suits you if you prefer a local neighborhood. The kitchen stays open until 10 p.m., which was handy when I didn’t feel like going out. My room had an unusual two-level setup, with the living room downstairs and bedroom upstairs. The bed was clean and comfortable, the AC was cold, and the shower was hot. Room service came daily, and the staff at reception, in the kitchen, and elsewhere were friendly and respectful. Breakfast was nice, with a choice of four types, plus complimentary coffee and watermelon included with the room. The outside area looked good. I didn’t try the pool because it was rainy season. The washroom could use some work. Thank you 👍

The garden and pool were well kept, so the outside looked nice. Inside, the cheap furniture was falling to bits, the bathroom was dirty, and the bed and sheets were stained. The bedroom is upstairs and there’s no toilet on that floor. Apart from the location, I can’t think of anything good about the place.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It seemed like they hadn’t cleaned the room after the last guest: used soap was still there, and the trash hadn’t been taken out. 🤢🤢🤢

I had to ask for fresh sheets when I arrived because there was a visible stain on the bed. The bathroom was filthy, with stains everywhere and dust covering everything. I politely reported it twice, but nothing was done beyond cleaning the sink. They never washed the floor or bathtub. I don’t usually get allergies, but I couldn’t stop sneezing and developed itching and rashes. The staff were extremely friendly and lovely, but that wasn’t enough to make up for a place this dirty, which seemed never to be cleaned. The shower also failed twice, including this morning when I needed to leave for the airport. Avoid this hotel. It’s the dirtiest place I’ve ever had to stay in.
