The little shops and food spots nearby were lovely, and it was about a 20-minute walk to the beach. I didn't want to be in the middle of all the chaos, so this suited me perfectly. I first came for just a few days on a quick Bali visit, then liked it so much I returned for a whole week. I'll miss that amazing little dog. Thanks for the stay!

It's wonderfully quiet, tucked away on an ordinary little road. The rooms have modern Western-style fixtures, a shower and toilet, and really plush bedding. Breakfast is huge and free, with proper Bali coffee and tea. The son and daughter speak English well, and the dad cleans the room daily. You can rent a scooter from them for 75K IDR without handing over your passport. They provide real registration papers for traffic stops. If you get stopped at an intersection, be smart and stay hidden behind a car!
