Casa D Gracia Sanur Beach by Nagisa Bali

The house was amazing and exactly what my family needed. We’re a family of four, and that extra personal touch made the stay something else. The service was next to none, and I’ll rate them on any website I come across. There’s construction around the area as it’s being developed, but that shouldn’t put you off staying here. I also recommend getting a car and driver service, especially Arya.

Breakfast was fantastic, and Ibu Tini and mas Agus were friendly and attentive. We had a lovely stay. One suggestion: it would be helpful to have plastic cups and plates for kids to use around the pool.

Casa de gracia feels safe and comfortable, and it’s charming and well maintained. We brought our 4 year old, and knowing Ms Tini, the villa manager, was only a Whatsapp text away was reassuring. She’s warm and attentive, and we were glad to meet her 🤩 The butlers prepared breakfast for us and took good care of it. Casa de Gracia was a treat to stay at. I recommend it for families looking for an upscale, cosy, clean villa in Sanur.

We stayed in Sanur for six days and spent most of that time away from the villa to get away from the noise. On 6 October 2025, it was surrounded by major construction, with four neighboring villas actively being built. The listing mentioned “potential disturbances” from February 2025 to February 2026, but that didn’t convey what we found: construction ran from 9am to 7pm daily on all four nearby plots. After the heavy machinery stopped, workers still hammered and talked until around 11pm. Tini, the Villa Manager, was lovely and did what she could to help. She apologized, spoke to the workers about lowering the noise, and tried to make our stay more comfortable. We appreciated that, but it’s hard to imagine relaxing with machinery going through the day and into the evening. There were also piles of bricks, cement, and other building materials, including metal cables, on the roads right outside. The roads leading to the villa were unstable too. We felt sorry for Tini, who had to deal with shocked and angry customers in such a difficult situation. We wanted a full refund, but our booking was non-refundable, so we had to stay or lose the whole cost. I asked for a partial refund or an early checkout, but neither was possible. They offered to move us to another villa in Canggu, which we didn’t want. It was disappointing that the listing played down the scale of the work. Calling it a “potential disturbance” felt dishonest and misleading. Tini did her best, and we thank her, but be aware that the construction sites are next door and won’t be finished by Mid-2026. I wouldn’t book this place unless you’re prepared for that.
