Cove Griya Elite

We’d just made the long trip from Nusa Dua to Sanur and had booked a night in a 1 Suite with Balcony because it was nearby. We made the reservation around 23:30 on June 14-15 and paid IDR 400,000. When we arrived, nobody was there to help. We called both numbers provided, but one of them didn’t answer. A professional place should have told us how late check-in worked. The reservation couldn’t be moved or refunded, so we waited in the lobby until about 2 am. With no one responding, we went into a room where a previous guest was still staying. It wasn’t the room we had booked. It was cramped, and there was ink all over the bedsheet; we couldn’t tell what it was. We were exhausted, so we messaged reception on WhatsApp to say we’d checked into that room and asked them to come by when they returned. We got up around 6 am, but nobody had come back. We checked out early, around 6, because we had morning plans in Sanur. Even by 12 pm on June 15, the hotel still hadn’t replied. The customer service was awful. This wasn’t the first time they’d promised action and then repeated the same mistake. I’m writing this so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

The rooms have loads of space and great facilities, and the staff are really friendly. I’d happily stay here again anytime.

There’s a shared lounge on the first floor with a toilet, fridge, water dispenser, dishwasher cabinet and sofa. You can wait there, and it also works for temporary luggage storage. Check-in is at 14.00 and checkout at 12.00. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. In the room there’s a TV, wardrobe, table and chair, and a towel; bathroom supplies include a toothbrush, toothpaste and bar soap, plus a standing shower and toilet.
