I travel around Asia often and know what humidity and basic homestay conditions are like, but the damp, moldy smell in my room was much stronger than usual. There were visible moisture and mold marks on the walls, plus little flies. I’d been given a ground-floor room right beside the pool, and it was uncomfortable to spend time in because of the smell. The room didn’t look like the photos, which had been the main reason I booked. Since it was already late, I stayed for one night, then left the next morning because of the odor and hygiene concerns and told the property. The staff were polite, but there wasn’t another room available, and I wasn’t offered compensation. There are lots of positive reviews, so maybe the upper-floor rooms are in better shape. Based on what I experienced, I’d specifically ask for an upper-floor room if staying here. I saw some other reviews describing similar problems, and I’m sure the photos were taken in the ground-floor rooms.

The bed was big and really comfortable, and I slept well. I also appreciated having a washing machine in the bathroom, with detergent sachets ready to use. The kitchen had everything I needed, including a stove, fridge, kettle, toaster oven, and pots of sugar, tea, and coffee, so I could make breakfast myself. Green Studio Apartment Sanur was just what I wanted, and more. The room was spacious and well equipped, and the TV had YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, and other streaming options. The staff greeted me when I arrived and were so welcoming. Restaurants, shops, and the beach were either an easy walk or a short Grab ride away. My stay was perfect, I can’t recommend it enough. Close to the Main Street but still peaceful, and the price is incredible for what you get. The apartment was just right for us, with a well-equipped kitchen, a big comfy bed, strong aircon, and even a washing machine. A real hidden gem in Sanur. You won’t regret booking here!

There’s plenty of space in the apartment, and its location close to the beach is great. Cooking was convenient too, since it had all the necessary equipment. But I had a couple of big problems: bugs kept biting us at night, and a terrible gas smell from the stove spread through the room.

It was a pleasure staying on the second floor, with a nice view over Sanur’s rooftops. The pool is small but clean, and the studio was cleaned every day. The bed was extra wide and very comfortable. There was also plenty of storage, tables and chairs for coffee or breakfast, air-conditioning, a safe, and very good WiFi. The studio itself was spacious and pleasantly decorated in a shabby chic style. Its kitchen had a large fridge freezer, two gas burners, a small toaster oven, water cooler, dishes and cutlery, plus complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar. The roomy bathroom had clean towels, toiletries, a washing machine, and laundry detergent. Staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The neighborhood was quiet, yet Jl Danau Tamblingan, with its cafes, shops, and restaurants, was only about five minutes away. I really enjoyed my stay and warmly recommend it.
