The staff were lovely and accommodating, with useful local food suggestions and help with boat advice. The dorm beds are a good size and come with an outlet, linen, and towels. In my 8 months of travel, this hostel has had some of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in. The showers could use some work, though. Most are hanging off the wall, so washing your hair is hard unless you hold the shower.

The vibe is calm and homely, with a small pool and a few bean bags where you can relax, read, or laze around. It’s peaceful rather than social, so it’s not the place if you’re looking to meet people. I booked the private room for two nights and had an amazing stay. The room was clean and smelled fresh, with a well-equipped kitchen attached. It was cleaned daily, and water bottles were provided each day. Sanur harbour is within walking distance.

The place was clean, comfortable, and nicely put together, with a little pool by reception. There’s a large locker downstairs and a smaller one in the room. The only thing I missed was somewhere to set my phone while it charged, like a shelf or a couple more hooks by the bed. The owner was helpful and quick to reply. They even had my scooter ready the evening I arrived so I could leave early the next morning. It cost 75 k without a full tank.

After three months of travelling in South East Asia, that was easily the best shower I’d had. I’d stay again just for that. The dorm room was large, but each bed gave you complete privacy. The wooden frames didn’t squeak when people moved around, and both the bed and pillow were really comfortable. It was also comfortable and cheap. I spent one night here after coming back from Komodo, before heading to Lombok early the next morning. Highly recommend.
