We had a very comfortable stay in a lovely, clean, tidy place. Serangan harbour is just a few steps away, and our room had a view of it. Eka Jaya fast boat is within walking distance.

The beachfront setting and easy access to the port were real pluses for us, and getting a Gojek was simple. Just remember this is Serangan, a local bay area, so it isn’t a spotless Sumba or Gili beach. There can be some rubbish and local noise, which comes with the character of the area. Our room got wonderfully cold, and the hot shower had just the right temperature and strong pressure. The Wi-Fi was weak during our stay, though it didn’t bother us much. The bed was a little firm, but at this affordable price I wasn’t expecting a luxury King Koil mattress. Good value for what it costs.

A clean neighbourhood starts with places being clean and well looked after. We need to improve things across the board, but cleanliness comes first. Start with the basics 💪🏽

The room was roomy and much cleaner than I expected, even though the bathroom was on the small side. The front desk team were friendly and ready to help. We tried both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and neither let us down. The food was excellent. The nighttime bar was another highlight, with tasty food and drinks at prices far below what you’d find at other hotels. For Indonesian tastes, that’s a good deal. A fun place for a family or a couple to spend an evening.
