Sativa Sanur Cottages

The pool is a lovely place to unwind after exploring, shaded by palm trees, and the cottages are full of greenery and character with traditional Balinese architecture. Everything felt calm and welcoming, like a little oasis in Sanur. We really liked the relaxed feel, not too touristy, but still with the comforts you want on holiday. We felt at home right away. It’s peaceful and tucked away, yet only a short walk to Sanur Beach and the cafes and shops. There are lots of local warungs and street food nearby, with nasi goreng, sate, and fresh juices. We loved heading out in the evenings to try something different each night. It felt like being part of the real Bali. The staff made a great impression from the moment we arrived. They were warm, friendly, and always smiling, and went out of their way to help with local tips, directions, transport, and finding hidden local gems. The place gave us a lovely mix of comfort, charm, and true Balinese hospitality. We left with big smiles and a full heart. ❤️ For couples wanting a charming, authentic, friendly place in Sanur, Sativa Cottages is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Disgusting. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty, tired, and dilapidated doesn’t cover it. The service was terrible and unfriendly, and breakfast was pathetic, with utensils crawling with ants. We were too tired to change hotels, but normally we would have. It was that bad.

I really like the traditional Balinese style cottages. It’s a very quiet, peaceful place to stay, and the staff are friendly and polite. Terima kasih!

Most of the guests were older people, so the place felt quite chill. The hotel is very quiet and in a great spot, with restaurants and a grocer within walking distance. Staff are friendly, the rooms get very dark at night, the bed was comfortable, and the shower pressure was fine. The walls between rooms are extremely thin. We could hear the neighbours using the toilet, it was that bad. The breakfast buffet had few options, and what they served wasn’t cooked nicely. The hotel is a little run down, but that was fine, it was still nice. The Wi-Fi was terrible.
