Swastika Bungalows

I stayed for four weeks and would absolutely come back. The rooms are basic, but have all the essentials and were cleaned very well each day. The staff were friendly, trustworthy and very vigilant. It's a lovely place to unwind in Sanur, just a minute from the beach and a five-minute walk from the modern Icon shopping centre. There are also talented masseuses in the complex, and their prices are very reasonable.

The breakfast was average, but I'd happily stay here again. I spent a few relaxed days here with my elder daughter. The pools were lovely, the rooms clean and the service sweet and friendly. It's in a fantastic spot in the middle of Sanur.

We had a very nice stay in this beautiful area of small cottages. Our cottage was spacious, with a fridge and hair dryer, and the bathroom was roomy with a large wardrobe. The toilet, shower and bathtub were separate from the washbasin, which was handy. I just wish there had been a hook for the hand towel. Also, why is there a toilet with only a curtain in the public area? There's a stall with a door too, no worries.

It's a quiet, peaceful place with lovely staff, spacious, very clean rooms and gorgeous balconies. The gardens and architecture are beautifully landscaped, with an older style charm, and there are plenty of pools. Breakfast was a simple but filling buffet. The food wasn't great for me, though I'm very fussy. Icon Bali and the beach markets are a short walk away, either along the main road or the beach track. The street opposite leads to the beach, which is handy. Cocomart is just a few steps away and has a trustworthy money exchange. I also liked the ATM outside Icon Bali. There's a chemist, Mini Mart and lots of places to eat nearby. They offer bike hire too.
