The Vinhill Studio Bali

I've been here for two months, and it's been the best place I've stayed so far. It's quiet and feels pretty safe, with lots of affordable local food around. The staff are friendly, clean the room three times a week, and change the sheets weekly. The room is clean and comfortable.

I've stayed at Vinhill six times, but last week was my last. The place has changed since the niece of the indo-chinese management took over the daily business almost two years ago, and things have gone downhill. I didn't feel welcome, and the management doesn't know how to treat regular guests. They keep raising prices while dramatically cutting service, so I can't recommend staying here anymore. My bathroom was dirty and worn when I arrived, especially the sink and toilet, even after it had been cleaned. Rain forced me to switch rooms because the ceiling was leaking. I also hadn't known cleaning was only every two days. When I asked for a second towel, as I'd always received before, I was told that as a long-term guest staying two weeks I wasn't entitled to one. The towel I was given wasn't changed during those two weeks. It's a shame, because Vinhill used to be different a few years ago.

A cozy serviced studio, clean and well looked after. The staff are friendly, and there are different room setups to choose from. It's close to places to eat, groceries, and laundry. A good choice around Renon and Denpasar.

The place is comfortable, the people are nice, and it's near the food we like.
