I checked into Urbanview Hotel Taman Suci Denpasar Bali on 28.03.2025 and stayed one night. On the evening of 29.03.2025, I found a bedbug in room 205 and asked to move. In room 315, I checked the mattress and found even more bugs. I went to the lobby angry and said I didn't want to sleep in any room there and wanted my money back. The employee said I had to request a refund through Agoda, where I'd booked. While I was sitting in the lobby, he checked room 315 and came back saying he hadn't found a bug and suggesting I was lying. I took him back to the room and showed him one. He had nothing to say. A disaster. Since it's Nyepi day, I'm stuck at the hotel, and I'm not sleeping in any of those beds.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They even helped me copy and print everything I needed for immigration. There’s coffee, tea, and bread in the morning, too. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel is really big, with old classic Balinese details. Great value for money. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in Denpasar.

The only good thing I can say is that the staff are kind, friendly, and helpful. My room is filthy: there are old blood marks on the sheets and a rat comes in every night. The toilet still had someone else's piss when I arrived, and the sink, tap, and mirror look like they haven't been cleaned in months, maybe ever. It's noisy, and the windows won't shut properly. The blind is held up with Velcro.

The bed is comfortable, and there’s a refrigerator in the room. They also provide the Qibla direction on the desk and two 330 ml bottles of mineral water. Coffee, tea, hot water, and a microwave are available for free near the lobby. Bring your own toilet tissue, though, since there isn't any in the toilet.

The hotel is old and dirty, with cockroaches wandering around inside, and the lift doesn't work. You might want a tetanus shot before booking.
