Villa Costa Plenty

Villa Costa Plenty was a haven, and I had a perfect week there on my own. It felt secure and safe. Sharyn was a warm, helpful host, and the staff were all great. The pool was amazing, with lots of loungers, and I enjoyed breakfast at the communal table, chatting with the other guests. The food was delicious, with fresh fruit, homemade granola and yoghurt, plus hot dishes made to order. My room and bathroom were enormous, cool, and comfortable. There was a full size fridge with ice, juice, and milk, plus a coffee machine, drinking water, cookies, and a cooler with hot water for tea. The kitchen was available around the clock, and there was a self serve drinks fridge. The room also had international plugs and a TV with current films. I walked too much. The pavements have frequent big holes, the traffic is chaotic, and it’s so hot and humid. Get a Grab to the beach or supermarket. Grab is the way to go, and you can order food delivery too.

The pool was so amazing that we barely left it, even though the beach is about 10 minutes away and several nice restaurants are within walking distance. The area is quiet and peaceful, just right for relaxing and recharging. The beds were incredibly comfortable too. As soon as we stepped through the gates, we were speechless at how gorgeous the villa was, and we immediately asked to extend our stay. The photos really don’t do it justice. Sharyn, the owner, welcomed us and showed us around, and everything we saw and heard kept impressing us. We felt so at home, like we were staying with family. The rooms are large and spacious, with everything we needed, including a big fridge, coffee machine, juices, and a jar of homemade cookies. There’s a water filter, so you can drink from the tap, which was such a treat after travelling for so long. There’s also a big TV with an Amazon Fire Stick, so we had endless choices of films, shows, and sports channels. The staff were all lovely, and breakfast each morning was delicious. Terry was so nice too, always offering to make us coffee when we saw him. We could go on forever about how much we loved this place.

The koi fish and turtles in the pond were a lovely touch, and there was a fresh cookie in the jar each day. The room was large and comfortable, with a chlorine-free pool. Though the villa has Costa Plenty, it felt marvelous. It’s tucked away from the beach and main road, so nights were very quiet, and the beach, cafés, and restaurants were about a 15-minute walk.

The pool was spotless, with koi and turtles in the pond along its edge. The suites sit in beautiful grounds, and it’s clear Sharyn, Terry and their small team have put a lot of love into the villa. They pay attention to the little things too, like homemade cookies in the room, and take great care to make sure guests have what they need.
