Wayan Homestay Sanur

We left after just one night, and only stayed that long because we arrived too late to find somewhere else. Room 1 looked nothing like the rooms in the listing and seemed not to have been renovated in over 30 years. If you're assigned that room, I'd leave.

The relaxed, welcoming feel and comfortable beds made this another lovely stay at Wayan Homestay. It's quiet, very clean, friendly, and in a great location. I've stayed here twice now and would book again. Great value for the money.

The owner was very friendly, and for the price this could have been a five-star stay. But the toilet smell in room 4 spoiled all three days. We asked for bleach to be used in the sink, drain, and toilet, but it didn't help.

I had to pay extra to book somewhere else, and the whole situation ruined my day. I'd reserved a room four days ahead, but after 10 pm on the night before arrival, they messaged to say they'd overbooked and asked me to cancel. They offered no alternative at first. When I asked, they suggested another place that was cheaper, less clean, and in a worse location. That felt unreliable and unprofessional.
