Hotel O Nakula Sadewa

I booked on Agoda because I had business nearby. The room looked nothing like the photos, and, sure enough, the bad reviews I'd dismissed turned out to be right. The mattress was so dirty it looked ready to fall apart, and the mattress pad felt sandy to sleep on. The bathroom walls hadn't been cleaned, and the bathroom itself was dirty. They gave me one towel and one blanket, and only after I asked for them. The old AC was still cold enough, at least. The pillows smelled like they'd been used every day with a sweaty head. I couldn't use them. The room was smelly and dirty when I arrived, but the guard said, "You can't move rooms here, ma'am." I asked for a clean pillowcase and was told the cover had already been changed. If it hadn't smelled, I wouldn't have asked. In the end, he gave the room and pillows two sprays of air freshener, mumbling as he did it. I got a bit angrier when I complained, but luckily I managed to stay calm and be patient. This isn't about the place being cheap. For around 160 rupiah, it shouldn't be this bad. What a waste of time. It's far worse than RedDoorz, where I've stayed for years without ever being this disappointed. The place was careless and terrible. I hope the owner fixes what's broken.

A warning if you're thinking of booking here. I'd paid in advance, but when I arrived the booking had been canceled without any notice. I got a cheap refund, then had to pay a much higher price for somewhere to stay. This place isn't worth booking, and it didn't feel like a blessing. I hope sharing this helps someone else think it over.

We checked in around 10 PM, and I was reminded twice that checkout had to be before noon. The room was small and unsuitable, nothing like what the app had quoted. Its mattress was very flat, and the sheets were dirty. The app showed 86,000, but at the property they asked for 170,000. We bargained and settled at 150.

We'd already paid in full through the app, but when we arrived, the room was full. The guard couldn't help us get a refund and told us to go to BCA, which made no sense since the money had gone through the app. He was also very rude and answered emotionally when we asked for help politely. The whole booking and refund situation was unclear. 👎👎👎
