Hotel Augusta Garut

I won’t stay at this hotel again. It was dirty from the lobby through to the rooms, and our room smelled like fish. The bathroom was just as unpleasant. My pregnant wife and I both felt that something was wrong around us because of how bad the environment was.

This old hotel needs renovation. The room door didn’t feel like a hotel door, the floor was very dirty, there were no shower amenities or sandals, and the wardrobe needed repairs. It wasn’t worth what I paid. The corridor to the second floor rooms was dusty and dirty, and I barely slept well. Traffic noise came clearly through the room, and the toilet smelled. Dear management, please show guests more appreciation. The price isn’t that cheap, and people may start leaving if you don’t address the old furniture, cleanliness, and service. I can’t recommend it until those things improve.

The price felt fair for a clean place to spend one night. The staff were nice, though amenities were very limited, just a small towel and soap.

We didn't feel at ease in the room because it had no double lock. That was the main issue for us.
