The trip there felt a bit like heading into the forest. The road winds through villages, gets narrow in places, and has plenty of ups and downs, so drive carefully. Once we arrived, though, the scenery and atmosphere made it worthwhile. It’s a lovely panoramic spot for a quiet break with family or friends, and I really enjoyed it. We only came to eat and hang out this time, but I’d like to return and try staying in one of the rooms. The food was okay and still enjoyable, and the prices seemed average for a holiday destination. Better tasting food would make it even nicer. There’s lots of parking. Entry was about IDR 35k per person and IDR 15k per vehicle, and the ticket came with a discount coupon for food or activities. A shuttle from the parking area to the site was included too. Happy vacation, and bon appétit!

At night, the traditional-style bale villa felt like staying in the forest, with peaceful sounds from nature. We stayed one night; the bedroom and bathroom were clean, though chairs on the porch would have been welcome. The area is huge and secluded, great for family time. Some stretches of the drive are narrow and a little risky, but there are several routes. Eco Park has plenty of facilities and activities for families with children, and it welcomes pets. Parking is away from the main building, but a shuttle takes you there.

The cool air made our stay feel really refreshing, and a buggy car was available to take us to the restaurant. There are lots of activities for kids, so it works well for families looking for a peaceful break that still keeps the children busy. The rooms are clean, the staff are warm and friendly, and Boemisora Cottage is surprisingly affordable. Food at Kedai Bale is budget-friendly too. Our favorite was the sliced beef yakiniku, so good!

Getting around the property was also confusing, since there was very little guidance for visitors once we arrived. The access is really, really poor. There are no clear path signs or guide banners, and the trip can feel mysterious, especially if a route is closed for a local event like a hajatan. There’s a lot that could be improved, though I’m not sure what can be done about the road itself. It was somewhat okay otherwise.

It takes a while to get here from the main road, but this hidden spot is beautiful. I tried Abiu for the first time. It’s like Indonesian Sawo, but the taste, texture, and color are different. You should try the fruit.
