Hanging Gardens of Bali

I loved how the villas were set apart from one another. They felt secluded in a good way, tucked into the jungle while still offering this level of luxury. There’s a beautiful river running through the property, along with yoga and meditation areas, and plenty of places to explore or just escape to. Everything was well maintained, right down to the smallest corners. The service was exceptional, too. The staff were polite and kind, but also attentive, quick, and helpful. They arranged a lovely surprise dinner for my cousin’s proposal, which was truly magical. A serene, peaceful retreat.

Every employee was welcoming, kind, and professional, and the hotel is simply phenomenal. The panoramic view from our room was breathtaking, and housekeeping came multiple times a day. Melvin, Desi, Sri, and Endik put together something beautiful for my husband’s birthday and helped make the surprise unforgettable. Septi gave lovely afternoon tea and great service. Harie, Widya, Agung Adi, Purnama, Agus, and Widi were wonderful as well. The food was delicious, so compliments to the chef, and thanks to trainee Ketut Bayu and the rest of the staff. Highly recommend!

The hotel’s care for sustainability stood out alongside all the luxury. Local craftsmen built it with traditional materials, placing it to limit the impact on the property. They cut just one tree to build the entire resort. Water comes in glass bottles that the hotel reuses. The wine list includes some interesting Bali wines, and the cocktails follow a “zero mile philosophy,” with all non-spirit ingredients sourced within a mile of the hotel. The villas are spectacular, with comfortable, firm mattresses, and you’re surrounded by amazing views, flowers, and the scent of frangipani. The food at 3 Elements matched the restaurant’s quality. If Michelin visited Bali, it would warrant a star. Service was warm and welcoming, and the staff anticipated our needs with genuine kindness. I’ve traveled widely and stayed at wonderful places, and this is right among the very best. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Septi’s afternoon tea was lovely, and Widya, Harie, Widi, Agung Adi, Purnama, and Agus brought warm smiles and great service. The chef’s creations were delicious, and thanks as well to trainee Ketut Bayu and every member of the team. The panoramic views and thoughtful housekeeping made this exceptional hotel feel relaxing and special. A magical stay, filled with warmth and lovely memories. Highly recommend 👍
