For the price, this was a great little find in Gianyar. The room was good, with hot water, a bathtub, a TV, and a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and gave us useful information about what to do while we were there. We were close to the night market, where we had a very good local meal and dessert. There were also plenty of nearby waterfalls to choose from for a day trip, which was well worth it. We had a great time here, a lovely place to stay while passing through.

Room No 50 was relatively clean and didn’t smell, and the hot water and water pressure were good. The staff were friendly. But for 200IDR there was no refrigerator or kettle. An upgrade was available for about 300IDR. The AC looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for years, and the pillows have reached the end of their life. A few touch-ups could make this hotel good, but the pillows and AC cleaning need urgent attention. The sheets aren’t changed after every guest. That was shocking to me, though it seems almost standard practice in Indonesia.

It’s cheap, and most of the facilities are worth the price. The hot shower worked every time, and the bathtub was big enough to snuggle into and relax your shoulders. Sometimes the duppa (?) has a really strong smell, but that’s part of the local culture, so it’s okay.

I definitely won’t visit again. There was a hole in the ceiling, the wooden cupboard had mold, and the sink was broken. The whole place felt creepy and eerie, like a horror story. Not for a scaredy-cat like me! 🤣

Lovely service for such a cheap price, with very friendly staff and a great washing service. The food and grounds were great too. One room block has a view of mount Agung, and it’s easy to get into town and the shops.
