The KOHO Air Hotel

It felt more like a home than just a hotel, and the staff were superb. The grounds are enclosed by a nice wall, and the place felt clean, safe and comfortable. I once left my phone outside our room by mistake, and it was still in the same spot when I found it. The food and cocktails were good too. The location is fantastic, only a 5-minute walk from the main port. We also got a good price on a speed boat, included in the hotel price! One of the best hotels I've visited. RECOMMEND. We'll be back next year!

Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of fresh, tasty choices. We ate at the restaurant several times and were impressed by the food and service each time. Having three pools to choose from was a big plus, since each had a different feel. The snorkeling trip the team arranged was smooth from beginning to end. The equipment was well organized, everything was handled for us, and it was an easy, enjoyable way to see the marine life around the islands. It made the experience stress-free and memorable. The location was just right, near the main areas, beach and restaurants but set back enough to feel calm and private. Our accommodation was spotless, comfortable and beautifully maintained. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to help, from transport and local tips to checking in on us. The Koho Air exceeded our expectations and made our Gili Air trip special. We'd happily stay again and recommend it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going well beyond what you'd expect. The modern room was immaculate, and the facilities were fantastic, including three swimming pools. It sits right by the Main Street and beach, yet it was still very quiet and relaxing. I stayed for five nights over New Year's. I've lived in Indonesia for almost five years and stayed in plenty of hotels, and this ranks among the best. Has to be the number one spot on Gili air.

Such a special place. We were welcomed warmly with a refreshing drink, then settled into a really spacious superior room with lovely decor. The staff were thoughtful and always nice to chat with, and the whole area was spotless and inviting for a bit of rest. Everything was perfect and then some. Would highly recommend it.
