For the price, this homestay is perfect, though it’s certainly not the most comfortable one on the island. The people running it are really nice. They take time to explain what you can do around the island and where to eat, and they prepare breakfast for you.

It felt like a home away from home, with clean rooms and a location close to everything. The banana pancakes at breakfast are to die for. Book a fishing trip with Hairi too. He also runs snorkelling trips and dolphin sightings, and you won’t regret it.

Really nice place to stay, and super clean. There’s no AC, but the fan is okay. Breakfast was delicious, and the guy looking after the hotel was very kind and helpful.

The hosts are warm and always smiling, and it’s about a five-minute walk from the beach and ferry terminal. A great deal for the price. I’d recommend it.

Dirty, and the room was empty apart from a bed and a mirrored table. Nowhere to put your clothes. No hot water, and even the cold water was salty. There were holes in the walls and door, so you could hear your neighbours breathing.
