Gili Smile Bungalows

We were able to extend our stay even though bookings were full, and the host sorted it all out for us. The place is peaceful, with clean, comfortable rooms right on the beach and free amenities for guests. Breakfast was included and served by the sea. I’d strongly recommend it.

We liked it enough to come back twice. You can snorkel right in front of Gili Smile Bungalow and see turtles. It’s on the main beach, but far enough from the party area to stay quiet at night. The rooms were clean, and the newer ones have AC. Breakfast was good, bikes are available to rent at the Bungalow, and the owner and team were friendly and helpful.

Ryan was welcoming, fun to chat with, and spoke good English. He and the rest of the staff really added to our stay. We spent two nights at Gili Smile and loved it. There’s a beach right at the property for relaxing, plus a restaurant with delicious food. We chose the least expensive room, which was still spacious enough, with a table and chairs outside, strong AC, and a very clean, comfortable feel. We didn’t need hot water, but rooms with it are available.

The beach loungers were right by the water, and a short swim was enough to spot plenty of turtles. The owner and staff were all incredibly friendly, and breakfast was decent and included. Our room was clean and comfortably cool. It’s good value, in a great spot just far enough from the busy main strip.
