Jali Resort - Gili Trawangan

We had one of our best stays here. The room was beautifully decorated and extremely clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and there were thoughtful touches like a toothbrush and complimentary water that was always available. The staff were kind, friendly, always smiling, and ready to help with bike rentals or laundry. The restaurant served some of the best food we tried on the island. Every dish was delicious, and breakfast had plenty of choices, all prepared with great quality and taste. The location was ideal, about a three-minute walk from the beach but off the main street, so it felt peaceful and away from the crowds. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Gili.

We spent 4D 3N at Jali Resort and had a great time. Service gets 10 out of 10 from me for the way they treated guests, their honesty, and the care they showed. The room was standard for a resort, but cooler and cleaner, which I really liked. It’s a kids-friendly resort, with the best breakfast too. Laundry was available at 25k per kg. They work with an e-bike rental for 150k per 24 hours, and regular bikes for 50k per 24 hours. Jali also provides two pairs of snorkel goggles for free.

They welcomed us with a drink, and the location is very good. The room had all the basic facilities, including a kettle and fridge, and you can step straight from it into the swimming pool. The restaurant was good too. Each room gets free snorkelling kits, and Turtle Island is nearby if you want to snorkel and see turtles. Jali Resort is a great place to stay on Gili T.

Just a two-minute walk to the beach, close to shops and cafes, but tucked away from the noisy main strip. The pool looked clean and well cared for. The rooms were airy, spacious, and spotless, with cool open-roof bathrooms. There’s both AC and large fans, plus sunbeds outside each room. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to handle requests. The restaurant is one of the best on the island, though it’s worth reserving during peak hours. Breakfast was excellent, with Indonesian, Western, and lighter choices. Great value and a fantastic stay.
