Laguna Gili Beach Resort

After long days out, the clean, comfortable room was a lovely place to rest. The staff were so welcoming and the service was really good, they made me feel at home. Laguna Gili Beach Resort is ideally placed for snorkeling or diving, with easy access to the ocean. I’d definitely return.

The location was good, but cottage 116 had a bad smell coming up from the drain, like sewage. We’d booked the deluxe cottage for two nights and were considering two more, but decided to leave instead. Breakfast came with the booking, but there wasn’t much choice. They serve you one option per customer. I’d suggest skipping the breakfast and eating outside.

We used the sunbeds here every day and really recommend the place. There’s no charge for them, just support the venue by having a drink or two. Prices were the best, with no extra taxes, and Aldi gave great service.

The snorkeling right off the beach was amazing, with lots of turtles, and the sunrise view from the hotel was beautiful. It was a peaceful, memorable week for my family and me in one of the cottage rooms. The room felt a little old-fashioned, but it was clean and cozy, just right for us. Staff were helpful and friendly, so we felt welcome. We especially liked breakfast, the restaurant’s fried noodles, and the apple crumble. We’d definitely recommend it for a family getaway.
