Rumah Kundun

Kade was an incredibly kind and helpful host, sharing excellent local tips and going out of her way to help me book my Rinjani tour. The hostel is close to the bars, yet surprisingly quiet; I didn’t hear any party noise. I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it!

We stayed at Rumah Kundun for six nights and wished we could’ve stayed longer. It’s a great choice if you’re traveling on a budget. The room is basic, but spacious enough that it didn’t bother us. The location works well since the island is small and easy to get around by bike. They offer free water refills and bike rental, and there’s a good laundry place next door. Kade and all the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Kade adds something special by taking personal care of her guests. Feel free to ask her about trips, transport, or affordable food recommendations. Someone was always around if we needed anything. We’ll miss the place and the people.

The nights were so quiet, and I got the best sleep I've had in a while. Kade was kind, helpful, and brought such good energy. We felt at home, and the room was clean and nice. Breakfast was delicious too.

The owner is so sweet and friendly, and gave us helpful ideas for things to do. The night market is just a 5-10 minute walk away, and the harbor isn't far either. Our room had plenty of space, working AC, and comfy beds, all for a really good price. The shower only has cold water, but honestly, you don't need hot water here. Such a nice place to stay!
