We had a great stay. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked well, and there were lounge chairs and a clothesline outside the room. The bathroom was large, though the shower had no hot water. Rumah Side is about a five-minute walk from the harbor and has a great price and location. Mas Adi and the family were friendly and quick to respond. They can also help with island information, including bike rental and snorkeling.

The room felt quite dated, and the beds weren't very comfortable. When I first turned on the shower, it smelled like eggs, though the odor went away after I let it run for a few minutes. The location is great, just a five-minute walk from the harbor and very close to the main bars, restaurants, and cafes.

There's a lovely little porch of your own outside the room. It's really quiet, but still within walking distance of the beach and the busy area. No hot water, though if you shower during the day it's fine.

It's a small, basic place, fine if you'll be out most of the time and just come back to sleep. It's a little off the main street, but that wasn't a big concern for me. The staff are great, and you can rent bikes from them too.
