The rooms have a beach cabin feel, and I had a great stay. I'd really recommend renting a bike or scooter at the front desk, you'll need one to explore the island.

We were really disappointed with our stay. There were bugs in and around the bed when we checked in, then thick dust and cobwebs came down from the ceiling during the night. It was uncomfortable and made it obvious the room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was visible mold on the curtains and a strong damp smell, which worried us from a cleanliness and health point of view. We told reception and asked for a proper clean and fresh sheets because of the bugs. Housekeeping just tidied the sheets that were already there instead of changing them, and both the sheets and towels had visible stains. The doors didn't close properly, so lots of mosquitoes got into the room. It seemed to be a structural problem with the building. We even thought about moving hotels, but were told a refund was unlikely despite the room's condition and structure being the issue. The lack of cleanliness, maintenance problems, and the way our concerns were handled made this a very disappointing stay. I wouldn't recommend it.

This was one of my worst stays in Bali. The staff were unkind, unhelpful, and arrogant. We had booked different rooms on different days and asked whether we should stay put or move to a vacant room. They told us to stay, then the next morning, while we were leaving for our snorkeling trip, someone came and told us to pack so he could move us. He insisted we should book a double room instead, because he would get a monetary benefit. My husband asked for a small favor and got no help. No basic toiletries were provided, and the pool was dirty the whole time. Of all the hotels, this was my worst stay.

This place could be really pleasant if someone used management skills to lead the staff. On the third day, the manager or owner showed up and things improved. Our room got cleaned and the place was nicer, though the staff still left cigarette ash around the pool and cans here and there after staying late to smoke and drink. Before that, I complained a day after arrival about the common areas, but nothing changed. The staff seemed more interested in their phones and smoking than cleaning. When we first arrived, the common areas were dirty, tables hadn't been wiped in a long time, there was garbage among the plants, and the bins were full. Our bathroom was dirty, the room dusty, and the balcony had bird poo and cigarettes left by previous guests. It clearly hadn't been maintained or cleaned properly for a long time. The photos on Google or booking sites looked like they were taken years ago.
