The pool was fine, the beach was great, and the staff were friendly, but the bungalow had its problems. It was spacious and nice, though only sort of clean, with lots of ants and mosquitoes in the room. Breakfast was probably the worst we've had. There weren't enough towels, and when we asked for more, they gave us just one. Also, bicycles aren't free anymore, even though the website still says they are, so be aware. Still, the accommodation didn't spoil our time on Gilli Trawangan. The island was amazing, with beautiful beaches and such a relaxed atmosphere that even big stresses melt away. I didn't want to leave and hope we can return someday!

The hotel sits in the north of the island, away from the center's noise, but there are plenty of places to eat and drink just a few minutes' walk away. There's also a great diving school next door. We arrived early, and the reception team were very helpful, getting our room ready as soon as they could. Lovely hotel.

Breakfast was delicious, and I loved starting the day with the water views. The rooms were great and the setting really relaxing. Dan and Matiyp were always around to help or ask how our day had gone, and the service was friendly and accommodating. A great place to stay, highly recommend it.

We slept right through the night here since it’s well away from the mosques. The rooms were perfect, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. For the price, it felt more like a solid four-star hotel. A perfect stay.

Want to enjoy the view? Sit somewhere else. We ordered a small beer and a water, and the owner charged 5 euros for the beer. When we asked to see a menu to explain the price, he wouldn’t show one. What a villain.
