There are just two units on the property, toward the center of the island, so it feels very private. It's a short five-minute walk to the main Street, and you can rent bikes for $5 a day to get around elsewhere. The two-floor, two-bedroom villa has a balcony and pool, all at a great affordable price. The staff are kind and helpful, and there's a delicious free breakfast in the morning. They even had a hard drive connected to the TV with lots of shows and movies. Highly recommend.

My favorite part was waking up to birds singing in the trees. The villa is new and set back from the main strip, so you miss the crowds but are still near the beach and restaurants. The rooms were spotless, the pool was amazing, and the rooftop breakout area was a fun place for drinks with great views. The staff were really nice. I'd absolutely recommend it.

The staff were very friendly, but that's about the only positive I can think of. Sewerage leaked from the upstairs toilet through the floor onto the staircase, leaving brown puddles that weren't cleaned up during our stay. The roof leaked when it rained, some lights didn't work, and neither villa had hot water. The ground floor air conditioner, positioned above the bed, was very loud. That bathroom was tiny and outdated, and the basin trap leaked straight onto the floor. We spent a lot and didn't get much in return.

The price was affordable and the facilities were decent. It's a fair way from the beach, but finding a bike rental near the house is easy.

We had a comfortable bed and a really spacious room here in Gili Trawangan. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay.
