The bed was comfortable and the shower had warm water, which is where the four stars come from. Everything around the stay was frustrating. The WiFi password was wrong, and the man at the desk just apologized and said he couldn't help. The staff didn't speak English, and nobody even tried Google Translate. Breakfast was meant to start at 8, but we had to check out at 7:30. The next morning it was available at 7, and again all we got was an apology.

The location is central, with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The aircon and WiFi worked well, and the staff were friendly enough after the attempt to charge us for a more expensive room. Our room was very basic and not especially clean. There was one blanket, though they brought another when we asked. We also had mosquitoes, a cockroach in the bathroom, and a sink outside it that screeched at 1am. Would I stay again? Probably not.

It's cheap and still workable overall, but there were hardly any power outlets and no bottled water. The room and bathroom supplies weren't replaced the next day, either. You also don't get a receipt for your stay unless you ask.

The room facilities are nice for such a low rate. Just don't expect a fancy breakfast.

A cozy room with a modern interior, and breakfast is nasi kuning.
