Amarta Pesagi Retreat by Madhava

I loved how the interiors were thought through. The architecture is among the most exclusive places I’ve stayed, and it’s easy to settle into the cocoon of the house for hours. The clean, sacred river nearby was lovely for a refreshing swim, and I really appreciated the tidy room and kind, welcoming staff. Breakfast smoothies came with a lot of care, and the food was great overall, from healthy dinners to a varied menu mixing Western dishes with local recipes. I highly recommend this place.

The rice paddies around Banjar Munduk Juwet and the warm welcome from the staff and owner made this feel like a special stop. Amarta Pesagi Retreat has a lush Eco Tropic Villa overlooking the river, and it’s only a short distance from jatiluwih. It’s well worth visiting, really a must if you’re in Bali.

A real secluded retreat in a place that feels unknown. The jungle, valley, rice fields, and retreat all come together beautifully.
