There’s plenty of space in the room, with lots of cupboards and storage, plus a fridge and microwave. The place is kept very clean, and the setting in Deltamas is quiet. From the pool you can watch the high-speed train go by. There’s also a fish pond, a court, a playground, and some residents’ bicycles by the stairs. Most of the instructions and brochures are in Japanese. We picked up dinner at Aeon before checking in, about a seven-minute drive away.

The main drawback for me was how far it is from public transport, food options, and the city center. The hotel restaurant isn’t open every day, and the onsen/ofuro is limited to guests staying longer than a year. Still, it was a comfortable, peaceful place to stay, with green surroundings, a pool, playground, and free bicycles. The room had lots of storage, a large water dispenser, fridge, microwave, hairdryer, big smart TV, and balcony. It was a really nice stay.

I booked here hoping to relax in hot water after a long trip, based on what the website advertised. But the Japanese bath is only available to long-stay guests, so I felt misled. Please correct the claims across your ads, including the website. Shame on you. Think very carefully before staying at this disappointing hotel.

The rate was a real plus: I paid under IDR 500k for a weekend night without breakfast. The onsen/ofuro was just what I wanted, with a sauna, cold dip, warm pool that could’ve been a little hotter, and Japanese-style bathing. Cikarang is a hidden gem for people who enjoy Japanese baths. Deltamas has lots of Japanese-style buildings and a school, and on a normal traffic day it’s less than an hour from Jakarta. Keep up the good work and the nice rate :)

Their travel agent listings and social media give false information about the facilities, especially the Ofuro. It’s only available to long-stay residents.
