The bathroom floor gets slippery, so be careful. The shower pressure and AC could use better upkeep too. Still, it’s a great hotel.

The breakfast is delicious, and I’ve recommended Hotel royal idi to others because the secure, safe atmosphere really won me over. I’m sure they won’t regret visiting.

The view was lovely, and it seems like one of the few big, nice hotels around here. Service was good and the workers were friendly, but the bread was expired and in terrible shape, and ants were all over the jam and chocolate spreads. Fine for a night on a road trip, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

The staff were really friendly, and the facilities were decent. WiFi was good enough for 720p YouTube streaming or video calls, though the breakfast buffet was mediocre and had very few choices. It’s still far from good compared with even mediocre hotels in Jakarta. But within a 30km radius, I don’t think there’s a better option, so I’m judging it against nearby hotels rather than the best place I’ve ever stayed. For the price, I think it’s good value.

This was my second stay in Idi, and the WiFi is still blazing fast. The food is adequate, with lots of nearby places to eat if you want to go out. The hotel is quite decent and I’d recommend staying here. Management is still on a learning curve 😊, but it looks promising for the future.
